In the midst of what she is calling her last R&B release, K. Michelle made a stop at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, TN, on the “I’m the Problem” tour.
The superstar, who was also celebrating the release of her latest single, “You,” had the audience, including a lucky dozen or so on stage with her, captivated. The set very much felt like a transitional moment. Much like country music, which K. plans to pivot to on her next release, she sat with the audience and gave dialogue to the music with detailed reasons as to what each song meant to her. From a moment of revenge over a lost love to the turmoil and trauma of abuse. She left no stone unturned. She finished the show with her fans when she came out to the barricade to sing multiple songs with them, give out hugs, and, of course, take a few photos.
The I’m the Problem tour continues with a sold-out hometown show in Memphis next and continues into April.
