
With FIFA World Cup 26™ in town town excitement is at an all time high in Kansas City. Did you all know that Sporting Kansas City has a full entertainment lineup and fan experience called Soccer Capital Summer at Sporting Park, a free summer-long celebration featuring live concerts, DJs, local artists, watch parties, and immersive soccer activation’s throughout June and July.
The festival will bring some major names to the stage, including Third Eye Blind, who will headline a free concert on July 18 ahead of the World Cup Final. The lineup also features Travie McCoy and Gym Class Heroes, kicking off the knockout stage celebrations on June 28, along with Kansas native Logan Mize, who will perform during the Round of 16 festivities on July 6. International DJ duo Coco & Breezy will close out the celebration alongside the World Cup Final on July 19.
Beyond the headline performances, Soccer Capital Summer will showcase Kansas City’s diverse music scene with local DJs, artists, and creators throughout the festival. The series will open with a collaboration with COLORS, featuring performances from artists including Kamp Capow, Mank, MAAD, ERNO, Petty Offense, JusGurlss, DJ Billo, LOV3, and La del Tumbao, followed by additional performances from artists including GRAMMY-nominated Making Movies, FK Menace, DJ Vinyl Richy, DJ Ashton Martin, DJ Dawna, The Royal Chief, Dom Chronicles, and Casio McCombs.
More than a watch party, Soccer Capital Summer will transform Sporting Park into an interactive World Cup destination where fans can compete, create, and celebrate. Guests will experience soccer challenges, gaming and esports activations with the KC Pioneers, custom trading cards, slow-motion goal celebrations, photo experiences, and behind-the-scenes stadium moments — including the chance to receive a custom tattoo inside the Sporting KC locker room through the “Ink the Moment” activation.
The celebration will also spotlight Kansas City’s creativity and culture through local artists and community experiences. Fans can watch live mural creation by Phil “Sike Style” Shafer, experience Viva La Tinta’s live screen-printing studio, and explore innovative art installations like Coloratura, where music and visual art come together in real time.
Family-friendly attractions, including Blue’s Dog House, mascot appearances, face painting, caricatures, henna artists, permanent jewelry, and custom trucker hat experiences, will add even more ways for fans of all ages to take part. The festival will also feature a special collaboration with Sporting KC’s supporters group, The Cauldron, allowing young fans to help design a tifo that will be unveiled at Sporting KC’s first home match after the World Cup.
Produced and operated by Argyle Events by Sporting Kansas City, Soccer Capital Summer will host live viewings of more than 20 FIFA World Cup 26™ matches across 10 event days, including group stage matches, knockout rounds, semifinals, and the tournament’s medal matches.
Free to attend with advance registration required, Soccer Capital Summer aims to showcase Kansas City as the Soccer Capital of America bringing together global soccer culture, local creativity, and unforgettable fan experiences in one of the biggest celebrations of the summer.
