# Miami Magazine Presents Splashion

[Miami Magazine](http://www.modernluxury.com/miami) kicked off Miami Swim Week last
night at the [W SouthBeach](http://www.wsouthbeach.com/). Hundreds of guests gathered
for a night of  music, drinks, swim, fashion and luxury. Hosted by Uncle Luke and
Yes Julez this runway was anything but usual.

Fashion bloggers such as [The Wordy Girl](http://www.thewordygirl.com/), [Ria Michelle](http://riamichelle.com/blog/)
and [Kelly Saks](http://www.kellysklosetblog.com/), were some of the few to strut
their stuff and hit the runway this year. Some of the featured designers included
[Laundry By shelli](http://laundrybyshellisegal.com/), [Palme Dor](http://palmedorswimwear),
and [Dbrie_swim](https://dbrie.com/).

Bringing the show to an end was Kent Jones, who performed his number one single “
[Don’t Mind](https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/dont-mind/id1107777062?i=1107777308&app=itunes)“.

There’s no doubt that #splashion2016  was a small taste of what is yet to come in
the days ahead of Miami Swim Fashion week.
