Nashville SC and Club América played to a tense 0–0 draw in the first leg of their Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinal at GEODIS Park. Despite steady pressure from both sides, clear scoring chances were limited throughout the match.
Club América came closest in the first half, but Nashville goalkeeper Brian Schwake made a key diving save to keep things level. Nashville had late opportunities of their own, including a missed chance in stoppage time, but neither team could find the breakthrough.
The tie now shifts to Mexico City, where the winner of the second leg at Estadio Azteca will advance to face either Tigres UANL or Seattle Sounders in the semifinals.
