Nashville SC Extends Dominant Run Ahead of Champions Cup Semifinal

Nashville SC continued its dominant run Saturday night, defeating Charlotte FC 4-2 at GEODIS Park and remaining unbeaten in 14 of its first 15 matches across all competitions.

Hany Mukhtar opened the scoring in the 19th minute before Ahmed Qasem doubled the lead shortly after. Off the bench, Sam Surridge made an immediate impact in his return from injury, netting a second-half brace to seal the win.

Nashville’s attack continues to fire on all cylinders, outscoring opponents 21-4 at home this season. Mukhtar added a goal and an assist, becoming the third-fastest player in MLS history to reach 150 goal contributions, while Cristian Espinoza extended his scoring involvement streak to three matches.

With the victory marking the club’s 99th all-time win, Nashville now turns its focus to an even bigger stage: a Concacaf Champions Cup semifinal showdown against Tigres UANL.
