NYC Pride March 2026 took place Sunday, June 28, marking the 57th annual march since 1970 and the 57th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. NYC’s iconic Pride March, which began as an annual demonstration honoring the 1969 Stonewall Riots, has evolved into a powerful global symbol of LGBTQIA+ resilience, unity and activism. The march kicked off at noon at 26th Street and Fifth Avenue, passed the Stonewall Inn, and dispersed near 15th Street and Seventh Avenue. Grand Marshals included Bowen Yang, Dominique Jackson, Peppermint, Bernie Wagenblast, and Gays Against Guns. 695 registered groups marched, spanning community organizations, activist groups, corporate contingents, and individual participants. The 2026 theme, “For All of Us,” drew from Marsha P. Johnson’s quote on liberation, and the march carried a more defiant tone amid ongoing political attacks on LGBTQ+ rights.
