Special shout out to Echo Hatix and Eric Bellinger
Saturday, January 13th was a night to remember for Hip-Hop fans in Phoenix. Power 98.3 hosted their annual event, Powerhouse at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The line up consisted of Phoenix’s very own, Rico Bandz and Richie Evans. As well as Hip-Hop legends such as Twista and TechN9ne. The event was headlined by Kevin Gates with supporting acts, Eric Bellinger, Young Nudy and, Joyner Lucas.
With such a diverse line up, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Although the line up did consist of some big names, We also had some homegrown talent like Richie Evans opening up the show. As well as hometown hero Rico Bandz later performing his hit song “Big Mad Lil Mad”.
It wouldn’t be a Power 98.3 event without Arizona legends and personalities such as; The Dana Cortez Show, Bootleg Kev, and Melissa The Midnight Mamacita and J.Steele as they each introduced the likes of Kevin Gates, Eric Bellinger, and Twista.
Overall, Saturday night kicked off 2024 right. The city of Phoenix and every other city surrounding should look forward to the ongoing influence Al Frezzy is bringing to the Hip-Hop scene and culture in Arizona.
