Anticipation for R. Malcolm Jones feature film debut continues to build after experiencing another overwhelming turn out for the extended trailer screening of “The Magic City” at a private Pre Grammy Mixer. “The Magic City” is full of vibrant characters, and gut-wrenching twists and turns. Filled with music, excitement and heartbreak; “The Magic City” left viewers attending the private screening breathless and eager to see the film in its entirety.
Film Executives from Revolver and Relativity along with Music Executive Troy Marshall, Cedric The Entertainer, Duane Martin, Erica Alexander, Cali Swag District and more joined R. Malcolm Jones for “The Magic City” screening.
Jones is a graduate of the University of Miami Film School and won a Kodak Award for Best Cinematography in a student film as a freshman. Jones went on to direct over 140 music videos, was nominated for a BET Hip-Hop Award for best video director and his resume features artists with the likes of Nas, R. Kelly, Keisha Cole, Chris Brown, Lil Mamma, Vanessa Hudgens and many more.
