Anyone on South Beach this week definitely noticed Spring Break has finally arrived, saturating the streets of South Beach with fresh faces and a variety of incredible parties to choose from. This past Wednesday, it seems like every night club on South Beach was open for business, with a special event for the plethora of tourists here from nearly every corner of the globe. Varsity Lifestyle Group would not be out-shined of course, and came with guns blazing, with a Special Edition of their Wednesday party at Set Nightclub. “Rich” at Set, known for its lavish patrons and celebrity appearances welcomed Wale as their special guest and host. Hopefuls lined up outside SET (more like crowded) as early as 11 pm. Many hopefuls had to be turned away due to space and dress code violations (the party is notoriously exclusive) but the usual celebrities and athletes that flock to RICH every Wednesday did get in and partied ’til the wee hours of the morning. Without giving away too much, here are some of the faces spotted at Rich at Set this past Wednesday: Reshad Jones of the Miami Dolphins, Andre Blatche, Joe Johnson, Deron Williams and Paul Pierce of the Brooklyn Nets, Nate Robinson and Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets as well as Jermaine Dupri who shared a table with Bow Wow for Bow wow’s birthday. The interactions among the tables could only be described as an all out bottle war, and party-goers did not go without a full cup and some pretty interesting antics. The party is known for getting a little wild inside (just ask Justin Beiber) so if you missed it this week, arrive early and experience for yourself what all the celebrities and gossip blogs are raving about.
