Yesterday passing time on my flight [RnBae](https://www.instagram.com/rnbaecollective/)‘
s [feed](https://www.instagram.com/rnbaecollective/) pop’d up in my timeline. I’ve
followed them for a while. Just never had been able to make it out to one of their
many [events](https://www.rnbae.com/category/recaps/) they’re always having. Their
most recent showcase featured an artist by the name of [Drug The Artist](https://www.instagram.com/drugtheartist/).
After listening to his album on repeat my entire flight back from out west I knew
I had to see him live. I’ve always been a fan of R&B and its refreshing to see an
act who sounds just as good in person if not better than they do on wax. Drug is
a singer, song writer form Miami. Who has a line on his opening song where he sings.
I’m ready. And that he is. Male R&B is in a weird state right now and has been since
all these rappers started singing. Not just Drug but I think the game itself is
ready for a change. [Click here](https://open.spotify.com/album/1oeMzxVbV4l9OUHk6KEKEH?si=eBeMO9lQRBSoTapmN1AAGQ)
to get that dose of [Drug](https://www.instagram.com/drugtheartist/) doing his part
to usher in that change.
