In an electrifying convergence of musical talents, Scaring the Hoes, the dynamic collaboration of JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown, set The Tabernacle ablaze on August 17, 2023. Adding to the sonic spectacle was Atlanta native Kenny Mason, creating an unforgettable night.
Opening the night was Kenny Mason, a homegrown talent who flawlessly set the stage for the journey ahead. His artistry painted vivid soundscapes that drew the audience into his world, while his lyrics bore witness to the essence of Atlanta’s musical spirit. A seamless blend of introspection and raw energy, Kenny Mason’s performance was a fitting overture for the night’s sonic odyssey.

With the stage set by Kenny Mason, Scaring the Hoes took the reins, showcasing a synergy that transcended musical boundaries. The fusion of JPEGMAFIA’s dynamic verses and lyricism with Danny Brown’s captivating style forged a musical narrative that left an indelible mark. The duo’s magnetic stage presence commanded attention, captivating the audience with every beat and lyric.

Peggy and Danny started the concert together on stage performing songs from the duo’s album, and then traded off turns coming off stage performing their individual hits. Danny being a veteran in rap releasing his first studio record XXX in 2011 and several mixtapes before that, performed a set highlighting nearly a decade and a half of records. Peggy performed hits such as 1539 N. Calvert, and Baby I’m Bleeding hyping the crowd the entire way while showcasing his incredible stage presence and unique beats and lyrics.
