Shanti Das Celebrates 20 Years In Entertainment

(Atlanta, GA) July 15, 2011 – GREY GOOSE is all about living in good company and celebrating individuals making history and Shanti Das is one of them. Last night Shanti Das, music and entertainment industry veteran, celebrated her 20th anniversary in the game at a private and intimate cocktail reception hosted by her friends, Ludacris and Kenny Burns at Straits Restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia.

The evening started with the signature True Flavors cocktails, the Frenchy, Mogul and St. Tropez and delicious light bites being passed while guests mingled and congratulated Shanti on her success. With Atlanta being Shanti’s hometown, the event turned out to be star studded with her friends coming to support and show her the same love she always showed them. In attendance were Ludacris, Kenny Burns, Chaka Zulu, T-Mo and Khujo of Goodie Mob, WSB-TV’s Jovita Moore, Devyne Stephens, Lisa Borders, Perri “Pebbles” Reid, Jazze Pha, DJ Trauma, Atlanta City Council President Ceasar Mitchell, Eboni Elektra, Peter Thomas of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Sabrina Rowe, Sharlinda Parker, Mary Catherine Sneed, Taiye Samuel, Chantel Watkins of Honesty Jewelry and 11 Alive’s Nina Brown.

Shanti’s pastor, Reverend Dr. Raphael Warnock of Ebenezer Baptist Church, said a prayer prior to the video recapping her career was played. This video recap included highlights from Shanti’s career starting in her days at Syracuse University to LaFace Records to present day with her company, Press Reset Entertainment (www.PressResetEnt.com). Guests unable to attend like Jermaine Dupri, Big Boi, Jagged Edge, Frank Ski and Kelly Price sent their love via video for her celebration.

This video only ignited and reminded guests how amazing she was and still is with Ludacris kicking off the official Toast recounting the days when Shanti believed in him before anyone else did. Khujo and T-Mo of Goodie Mob then took to sharing their love for Shanti that date back to elementary and high school and all the work she did for them. Needless to say everyone had great things to share about Shanti’s integrity and no-nonsense work ethic with Eboni Elektra, Perri “Pebbles” Reid, Devyne Stephens and more getting on the microphone.

The evening ended with Shanti cutting her stunning and delicious cake provided by Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes (www.ClassicCandC.com) and created by head chef Mark Lotti.
