Son Heung-Min scored his first MLS goal to help Los Angeles FC secure a 1-1 draw against FC Dallas on Saturday night. The South Korean star struck just six minutes into his third league appearance, giving LAFC an early lead.
Dallas responded quickly, with Logan Farrington netting his career-high fifth goal in the 13th minute off an assist from Patrickson Delgado. Goalkeeper Michael Collodi made four saves for Dallas, continuing his strong run filling in for the injured Maarten Paes, while LAFC’s Hugo Lloris recorded one save.
Despite the draw, LAFC has been in strong form, losing only twice in its last 18 matches. The team will return home to face San Diego FC on August 31, while FC Dallas heads to St. Louis City on September 6.
