The 10th Annual Spoiled Latina Summit returned to Houston on September 13, kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month with a full day of culture, conversation, and celebration. What started in 2015 with a city proclamation honoring Yvonne Guidry’s blog anniversary grew into the largest multicultural creator and entrepreneur summit in Texas — now recognized nationally.
This milestone year featured a powerhouse speaker lineup including Michelle Acosta (Attorney), Keisha Nicole (Radio Personality), Nicolette Rivera (Social Media Influencer), Humberto Martinez (Entrepreneur), and keynote speaker Suzette Quintanilla, CEO of Q Productions. Suzette, a fan favorite from past summits, was the top choice when the community was asked who they wanted to see return.
The sold out event consisted of attendees enjoying signature vendors, complimentary drinks by Corona, gift bags, a dessert bar, and an indoor/outdoor experience that featured various activations.
Sponsors added exciting activations throughout the event. United Airlines connected with guests around aviation career opportunities. Coca-Cola’s Barrilitos Airstream, last seen at Rodeo Houston, brought interactive experiences including food pairings, art, and hair braiding. Corona joined with a stylish and refreshing activation, while WSS brought sneaker culture to life with giveaways and creative illustrations.
“When I started this journey, I never imagined that what began with a blog and a city proclamation would grow into a nationally recognized movement,” said Yvonne Guidry, founder of SpoiledLatina and the SpoiledLatina Summit. “Ten years later, we are still creating opportunities, building community, and celebrating our culture with pride.”
The 10th Annual SpoiledLatina Summit will welcomed a nationwide audience of entrepreneurs, creators, and leaders — cementing Houston as a hub for culture, creativity, and empowerment.
