The Elevation Experience presented by Visit Lauderdale perfectly aligned with the
Orange Blossom Classic’s “The Reunion” theme, setting the stage for the upcoming
HBCU Reunion Experience Labor Day Weekend. Prominent HBCU alumni, including Wendy
Raquel Robinson and Yandy Smith-Harris, alongside Grammy award-winning singer and
actress LeToya Luckett, shared their invaluable experiences, inspiring attendees
to reach new heights. FAMU Head Coach Willie Simmons conducted an engaging football
clinic to empower women with essential skills and insights.

The event also featured notable professionals such as Visit Lauderdale’s Stacy Ritter
and Neki Mohan, Attorney and Sports Agent Kristen Campbell, Wells Fargo Financial
Advisor Tracey Tynes Horlback, and Miami Dade County, District 1 Chairman Oliver
G. Gilbert III, among others. The event was hosted by Hot 105’s Shelby Rushin, Local
10’s Alexis Frazier, and NBC’s Constance Jones, adding to the excitement and energy
of the day.

Wells Fargo actively engaged participants through an interactive workshop, demonstrating
their commitment to supporting women-owned small businesses and providing crucial
financial guidance. The event, under the visionary leadership of Kendra Bulluck,
Orange Blossom Classic Committee Executive Director, fostered personal growth and
inspired attendees to elevate their aspirations. As part of the experience, Bulluck
introduced Elevate Now!, a goal-setting journal that received overwhelmingly positive
feedback from participants.

As the momentum builds towards the highly anticipated Denny’s Orange Blossom Classic
presented by Ready Life, attendees are encouraged to visit www.orangeblossomclassic.

the Orange Blossom Classic continues, offering an unforgettable experience celebrating
HBCU culture and excellence in athletics.
