When I was in Myrtle Beach on tour at the beginning of the year I didn’t get a chance to do much. Traveling all over the world on tour may look glamours but a lot of travel can cause some serious wear and tear on your body.Hell road life can be just as taxing as the shows sometime. But I love it and am ready for the next run! Anyway I may have not been able to take the great folks at Marriott up on their spa offer as we were only in town for less than 12hrs but I did keep their contact. Last week I was bored and just wanted to get away for a few so I thought I’d call and see if that spa experience was still on the table? And 24hrs later it was me who was on that table LOL
Upon my arrival at The Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes I was greeted by Andrew who already had everything waiting for me because I had already checked on on the Marriott app. Hey was very professional and welcoming. I then headed up to my suite which had a balcony that not only overlooked the resort but had an amazing view of the Ocean as well. After taking in the beautiful sights and unpacking I opened up the closet and put on the robe that they had. It was amazing and nothing says relaxing more than donning a hotel robe.
so after just chilling in the room for a while it was time for my appointment. Upon arrival at The Hibiscus Spa. I was promptly greeted I then filled out a form so my masseuse would know if there were any areas that might have needed any special attention? After filling out the necessary paper work I was then escorting to the waiting area in the back that was filled with tea’s coffees, water and snacks. Not that I’d be there long as Jennifer shortly thereafter made her way back and introduced herself to me.
After the introduction she asked me about my trouble area’s and then proceeded to go to work. I chose a softer Swedish rubdown. The masseuse had hands from heaven, and they quickly had me lost in a tranquil state of mind and complete relaxation. After the massage was over, i took a few minutes to rejoin reality and get ready for the rest of our day of pampering together!
