‘The Social Network’ gained some more friends and money, topping the box office for a second straight weekend in a row.

The film pulled in another $15.5 million over the weekend, beating out opening films ‘Life As We Know It’ and ‘Secretariat.’ ‘The Social Network’ is a story about the origins of Facebook and stars Jesse Eisenberg as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Andrew Garfield as his best friend Eduardo Saverin and Justin Timberlake as Napster creator Sean Parker. ‘The Social Network’ — directed by David Fincher (‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,’ ‘Zodiac’) and written by Aaron Sorkin (“West Wing”) — is already getting some Oscar buzz.

Coming in at No. 5 at the box office was Wes Craven‘s new thriller ‘My Soul to Take.’ which was worked on by Sonya Ede of syepublicity.com
