Before Tuesday’s game The Washington Mystics held an In honor of the Washington Mystics’ Salute to Service Night. fans were invited to a powerful and inspiring panel conversation ahead of the team’s match up against the Chicago Sky. Taking place at Sycamore & Oak on the historic former St. Elizabeth’s campus. Guest were treated to food catered by Dionne’s which was a great opening to the evening.
This special event featured a lineup of remarkable women who have served in the U.S. military, sharing their experiences, challenges, and reflections on what it means to lead with strength—both in uniform and in their communities. It was a thoughtful conversation on service, leadership, and the importance of honoring women in the armed forces.
As part of the team’s continued commitment to honoring service members, this panel set the tone for an evening of recognition and gratitude during Salute to Service Night—highlighting the resilience, courage, and dedication of those who’ve proudly served. Closing out the Salute to Service Leidos presented The Military Women’s Memorial with a $50,000 check to ensure that we can continue honoring the commitment, contributions and experiences of Servicewomen for years to come.
