No. 14/15 Ohio State put on an offensive showcase Wednesday night, rolling past Penn State 108-84 in Big Ten action. The Buckeyes tied a program single-game record with 17 made three-pointers as they improved to 16-2 overall and 6-1 in conference play.
Ohio State set the tone early, scoring the game’s first 14 points and controlling the pace from the opening tip. After Penn State cut the lead to single digits late in the second quarter, Ava Watson’s buzzer-beating three sent the Buckeyes into halftime up 54-46. Ohio State then seized full control in the third, outscoring the Nittany Lions 28-17 to build a 19-point cushion heading into the final frame.
The Buckeyes continued to pour it on in the fourth quarter, knocking down four more three-pointers to seal the 24-point victory.
Jaloni Cambridge led all scorers with 33 points, reaching double figures in the first quarter. Elsa Lemmilä added a tied career-high 21 points on an efficient 10-of-12 shooting, while Chance Gray chipped in a season-high 23 points, connecting on seven shots from beyond the arc. Kennedy Cambridge orchestrated the offense with a career-high eight assists in the first half.
With balanced scoring, hot shooting, and relentless pace, Ohio State delivered one of its most explosive performances of the season.
