NATIVE of Norfolk, Virginia- D.Towe grew up in a impoverished small apartment with
three other older siblings, his father and mother. As his parents worked hard to
try and keep the family afloat, Towe was desperate to find his place in society 
and contribute to the household income. He began dabbling in music, but found his
niche in basketball and from there, his legacy took off!

EXCELLING quickly in the sport, D.Towe’s name became well known through the Tidewater
area. He was quickly recruited from high school to college, and soon overseas. His
passion of playing on the hardwood floor quickly ended when he was cut from an NBA
tryout. Devastated, he transferred the breaking emotion into music, and soon was
sucked into the secular side of the lyrical world.

MUSIC gave him a voice and a way to express his emotion. Yet, as his exposure to
the rap game grew, so did his interest in the fast life. He was soon overwhelmed
with women, money, and a life spinning out of control. Things were moving at a top
speed, greed as the driver, and the road to success was rolling in a downhill battle.
Something had to give.

LIFE was quickly brought to a HAULT when D.Towe was blessed with a baby boy. He 
started to see life in a different light and knew he had to better, if not for anyone
else, for his son. Looking into the Word he realized following God was the only 
hope for a positive & successful life. Towe got down and prayed for change and a
second change. As he rededicated his life, God answered his prayer and showed him
the light.

D.Towe changed his secular lifestyle, and made a vow that any and everything he 
did would be for God. As he focused his music to Gospel, the responses he received
was admirable. That was the confirmation he needed to know this was the right way.
Towe strives to reach and inspire, everyone to know God and live a positive life.
He still plays ball recreationally, but his heart and passion now is dedicated to
his Gospel rap and his family.
