Robert “Rolls Royce Rizzy†Davis was born in Oakland California in December of 1990 but raised in the DC/MARYLAND/VIRGINIA (DMV) area, doesn’t have the usual story you might hear when you speak to most hip-hop artists. Due to his father serving in the United States Navy, Rizzy along with his family relocated overseas to Tokyo, Japan. Shortly after graduating from High School, Rizzy aligned himself with a local promotional organization called Foreign Affairs Promotion Group. Signing with Foreign Affairs (Promotion/Label Company) Rizzy began working on his first LP “See What Happened Was†(Released 2009) which made a powerful impact on the music scene, vaulting Rizzy into opening up for such acts as, Grammy Award winning Artist “Three 6 mafiaâ€, as well as Atlantic Recording artist “Donnis†and more in various cities across Japan. Rizzy was asked to make an appearance for another well know recording artist, Lil Scrappy (G$UP/S-LINE) in Saitama Japan. Scrappy quickly grew to respect Rizzy’s talent and drive and offered the young artist an opportunity to sign with his label G$UP/S-LINE, and begin working on his project with him in Atlanta. Rizzy took the opportunity, and quickly began working on his first major USA release “Body Bag Musikâ€. Together Scrappy and Rolls Royce Rizzy dropped Rizzy’s first single “Tiger Woods†which took off with great success with over 90,000 Downloads the first day of its online release.
Rizzy has since, collaborated/worked with such artists as, Yung Berg, Diamond, Bun B, Young Chu, TK & CASH (DTP), Lil Chuckie (YMCMB), Young Cartoon, and More. Rolls Royce Rizzy currently is touring the world, doing events from Japan to Europe and everywhere in-between, and prepping for his next release “Short Days, Long Nights†Hosted by Dj Smalllz (Southern Smoke)
