On December 5th, it was officially revealed that Tyla will embark on a tour next year to promote her eagerly anticipated self-titled debut album.
The tour, featuring 27 stops, is scheduled to commence on March 21, 2024, in Oslo, Norway, and will traverse prominent European cities such as Stockholm, Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris, Amsterdam, and London. Following the European leg, the South African artist will bring her performances to North America, gracing major cities like San Francisco, Seattle, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Toronto. The tour will conclude at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis on May 28, 2024.
Presale tickets for the tour will be available starting Thursday, December 7th, at 10 a.m. local time. Tyla’s debut album, titled “TYLA,” is set for release on March 1, 2024, featuring 14 tracks, including previously released singles such as “On and On,” “Butterflies,” and “Truth or Dare,” all of which dropped on streaming platforms last Friday, December 1st.

Among the standout tracks is her breakthrough hit, “Water,” which received remixes from Marshmello and Travis Scott. The Travis Scott remix secured a spot on the final album cut. “Water” recently clinched the top position on the Billboard Mainstream R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, surpassing Victoria Monet’s “On My Mama.”
Notably, “Water” has earned Tyla her inaugural Grammy nomination in the category of Best African Music Performance, competing against tracks like Davido’s “UNAVAILABLE,” Burna Boy’s “City Boys,” and Ayra Starr’s “Rush.”
Reflecting on her Grammy nomination, Tyla expressed her disbelief, stating, “In all seriousness, I didn’t really think I was going to get nominated. But my label asked me to watch the livestream announcement, and I was so nervous… And then I saw my name pop up, and I died. I couldn’t stop screaming. I called my family and my best friend who travels with me. She came to my room, and we just screamed and screamed,” as she shared with Variety earlier this month.
