Tyler The Creator, LIL Uzi Vert, Jazmine Sullivan, Pusha T and More Hit the Stage to kick off Made in America

THE FESTIVAL MARKS ITS RETURN TO PHILADELPHIA FOR THE 10TH YEAR OF PERFORMANCES

Benjamin Franklin Parkway was filled with excited festival goers ready for a day of incredible performances as visitors celebrated their favorite artists and explored Cause Village, eager to support local Philadelphia businesses and organizations.

Across three stages – Rocky, Liberty, and Freedom – Made in America artists and fans brought the energy to start off the weekend right.

The city of Philadelphia was proudly repped, with several Philly natives giving unforgettable and meaningful performances. Jazmine Sullivan was gifted a Liberty Bell before her soulful performance, Zah Sosaa had his hometown fans charged with his familiar sound while Lil Uzi Vert had thousands on their feet, bringing out a classic Lamborghini astonishing the crowd.

The night came to a close, with Tyler, The Creator lighting up the night (literally) with a fire performance, making his “last show for a long time” a true tribute to the fans that have supported him. He also weighed in on the longstanding Philly cheesesteak debate… Geno’s or Pat’s?

12,537 festivalgoers pledged social actions after learning and being inspired by the organizations at Cause Village. From Majorwavez Lab debuting customized shoes for good, to USVI bringing fun and diversity to the attendees, and ACCT Philly providing attendees with much needed puppy love, the festival captured the feel good energy of the original Made in America.
