The No. 12/11 Vanderbilt women’s basketball team delivered a statement win Sunday afternoon, cruising past Stonehill 109–50 at Memorial Gymnasium. The Commodores overwhelmed the Skyhawks with relentless defense, forcing a season-high 35 turnovers and recording 26 steals—one of the best single-game totals in program history. Vanderbilt turned those takeaways into a 46–13 advantage in points off turnovers.
Offensively, the Dores were just as sharp, posting the highest scoring output of the Shea Ralph era while shooting a season-best 69.8% from the floor. Vanderbilt dominated inside, outscoring Stonehill 64–18 in the paint. Sophomore Mikayla Blakes led the way with 21 points, seven assists, and five steals, extending her double-digit scoring streak to 32 games. Six Commodores finished in double figures as Vanderbilt secured its largest margin of victory this season.
