Fresh off the release of Tell Me That Its’ Over, Wallows had packed out NYC venue Terminal 5 for a series of nights that had their audience set for an unforgettable night. Tell Me That Its Over released in spring 2022 has us see Wallows front men Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston embrace their own sound with a sonically diverse repertoire of tracks, each that bounced off the walls, seen in the runs striking the chorus of ‘Hurts Me’ which captures the lively feeling of the evening all around.
A true force to be reckoned with, one of the many standout moments of the night were opening chords to the spunky ‘Pleaser’ that with its sway-worthy melody and repetitive lyrics, in a room where a pin could drop: was a truly unforgettable moment. Additional moments of the standout night include the tracks, ‘Pictures of Girls ’ and ‘Pulling Leaves off of Trees’ which in the grander context of the band’s discography, call back to their earlier work. A night full of tracks old and new, and same with fans, Wallows is a mainstay for years to come.
