DJ Khaled Turns Up the Heat at The Dave Grutman Experience Powered by Moët Hennessy

High energy took center stage as DJ Khaled lit up The Dave Grutman Experience during the 25th Anniversary of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Guests enjoyed chart-topping hits, immersive brand activation’s, and premium cocktails courtesy of Moët Hennessy, with beats by DJ Nasty keeping the vibe alive.

Miami’s hottest culinary spots were in full force, including Papi Steak, where David Einhorn, Guy Fieri, and DJ Khaled teamed up to cook and serve guests at the lively Papi Steak activation.

For seafood lovers, the experience continued at Gekko, where Chef Tony Mai delivered a dramatic maguro kaitai — a traditional Japanese tuna-cutting ceremony. This theatrical culinary showcase featured a 100kg+ bluefin tuna expertly broken down with long Japanese knives in front of guests. Often described as “sushi theater,” the ceremony highlighted precision, respect for the fish, and the artistry of Japanese technique.

Paired with an elevated omakase experience, guests sampled prized cuts like akami (lean), chu-toro (medium-fatty), and o-toro (fatty), along with rare offerings such as freshly scraped backbone meat and bone marrow shots — making it a truly unforgettable culinary moment.
