Marathon Burger the fast-growing burger brand launched by the estate of late rapper Nipsey Hussle opened its newest location this weekend in downtown Long Beach.
The restaurant, located at 245 Pine Ave., Suite 110, celebrated its grand opening Sunday with music, packed lines and a steady stream of its signature smash burgers.
Founded by Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, Hussle’s brother, Marathon Burger has become a staple in Los Angeles’ food scene. Its flagship location on Melrose Avenue helped establish the brand, which has since expanded to Venice Beach and Canoga Park.
The Long Beach expansion comes through a partnership with the Broadus family, including hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell Broadus.
The menu centers on wagyu smash burgers, along with wings, fries and milkshakes continuing the brand’s blend of quality comfort food and cultural influence.
