Jeremy Pargo’s Game Winning 4 Pointer Gives Boston Ball Hogs First BIG3 Championship

The Boston Ball Hogs are BIG3 champions for the first time after Jeremy Pargo delivered a dramatic game-winning 4-pointer to defeat the Dallas Power in the 2026 championship game Saturday.

Boston entered the title game as 3.5-point underdogs but overcame Dallas’ dominant 8-1 regular-season record to complete the upset. The Ball Hogs finished the regular season 6-3, led by co-captains Garlon Green and Deshawn Stephens.

The championship battle was tightly contested from the opening tip. Greg Monroe helped Dallas establish its presence early, but Boston carried a narrow two-point advantage into halftime, with Green, Pargo and Stephens accounting for the team’s scoring.

The game came down to the BIG3’s race-to-50 format. With Boston stuck at 43 points and Dallas closing in on the target, Pargo drilled a 4-pointer to tie the game at 47-47 and keep the Ball Hogs alive.

Dallas then had a chance to finish the championship after an and-one put Monroe at the free-throw line, but he missed the opportunity. Pargo answered on the other end, burying another 4-pointer to clinch the comeback victory and deliver Boston its first BIG3 championship.

Elijah Stewart led Dallas with 19 points in a standout championship performance, but the Power couldn’t complete what had been an impressive season.

The victory caps the ninth season of the BIG3, the 3-on-3 basketball league founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz in 2017. Boston’s championship also comes with a $1 million winning bonus, in addition to regular-season salaries.
