Missouri basketball put on an offensive clinic Thursday night, cruising to a 102–68 victory over South Dakota in Columbia. The spotlight belonged to the newest Porter brother in a Mizzou uniform, who delivered a flawless performance with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and a perfect 9-for-9 shooting effort. His double-double makes him the third Porter sibling to reach the milestone for Missouri, following in the footsteps of Michael Porter Jr. and Jontay Porter.
The Tigers dominated the paint with a 56–24 scoring advantage and shot 24-of-30 from the free-throw line, using their size to overwhelm South Dakota from start to finish. Jacob Crews, Anthony Robinson II, Sebastian Mack, and Jayden Stone all joined the scoring surge with double-digit performances.
After a quiet start to the season, Porter’s energy stood out. The Columbia native controlled the boards, finished tough putbacks, and embraced the physical work inside—key contributions with the team shorthanded at center.
Preseason All-SEC standout Mark Mitchell added 22 points, marking his fifth straight double-digit outing. Missouri played without starting center Shawn Phillips Jr., who was sidelined by illness shortly before tipoff. Big man Trent Burns and forward Trent Pierce remained out for the sixth straight game, though small forward Annor Boateng made his season debut.
